Month View

What you'll learn: How to use the month view to see your schedule at a glance, navigate between months, and find specific dates.

Understanding Month View

The month view displays a traditional calendar grid:

  • Seven columns for each day of the week
  • Rows for each week of the month
  • Today's date is highlighted
  • Events appear on their scheduled dates

What You See on Each Day

Each calendar day shows:

  • The date number
  • A preview of scheduled events
  • Provider availability dots (if enabled)
  • Visual indicators for busy days

If there are more events than can be displayed:

  • A count shows how many additional events exist
  • Click the day to see all events

At the top of the calendar:

  • Click the left arrow to go to the previous month
  • Click the right arrow to go to the next month
  • The current month and year are displayed between the arrows

Time Blocks in Month View

Blocked time (like lunch breaks or time off) may appear:

  • Usually shown with a different visual style

  • Helps you see true availability at a glance

Event Colors

Events are color-coded by type:

  • Blue — Appointments
  • Green — Phone calls

This makes it easy to scan the calendar and understand your schedule mix.
