Calendar Overview

What you'll learn: How the calendar works, the different views available, and how to navigate your schedule.

Accessing the Calendar

  1. Click Calendar in the navigation
  2. Your calendar opens showing the current month

What the Calendar Shows

The calendar displays all your scheduled events:

  • Appointments with patients
  • Phone calls
  • Meetings
  • Tasks
  • Service appointments

Events appear on their scheduled dates with color coding based on type.

Calendar Views

Month View

The default view showing the entire month at a glance:

  • Each day shows events scheduled for that date
  • Click any day to see details and add events
  • Navigate between months using the arrows

Providers View

A specialized view organized by staff member:

  • See each provider's schedule side by side
  • Quickly find availability across your team
  • Click time slots to add appointments

Switch between views using the toggle buttons at the top of the calendar.

Provider Features

Provider Filter

If you have multiple providers:

  1. Click the provider dropdown
  2. Select "All Providers" or a specific person
  3. The calendar filters to show only their appointments

Availability Dots

Small colored dots on dates indicate which providers are available:

  • Each provider has a unique color
  • Dots appear on days when they're scheduled to work
  • Toggle the "Availability" button to show or hide these indicators

Provider Legend

When availability dots are visible, a legend shows:

  • Each provider's name
  • Their assigned color
  • Makes it easy to identify who's working when

Daily View

Click any date to open the daily view:

  • See all events for that specific day
  • Events listed in chronological order
  • Add new events directly from this view

Event Cards

Each event on the calendar shows:

  • Title — The event name or patient name
  • Time — When the event is scheduled
  • Type indicator — Color or icon showing the event type
  • Provider — Who the event is assigned to

Quick Actions

From the calendar, you can:

  • Click an event to see full details
  • Click a date to view all events and add new ones
  • Use the "Block Time" button (in Providers view) to block off time

New Appointment Notifications

When your AI phone assistant books appointments:

  • A blue banner appears at the top of the calendar
  • Shows how many new appointments were added
  • Click "Refresh" to update the view
  • Click "X" to dismiss the notification
  • Previous/Next Month — Use arrows to move between months
  • Today — Click to jump back to the current date
  • Date picker — Select specific months or years
