Services Configuration

What you'll learn: How to add, edit, and manage the services your practice offers.

Why Configure Services?

Your services list:

  • Appears when booking appointments
  • Helps the AI know what you offer
  • Sets default appointment durations
  • Describes what patients can expect

Accessing Services Settings

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find Services
  3. View your current services

Adding a New Service

  1. Click Add Service
  2. Enter the service name
  3. Set the default duration (in minutes)
  4. Add a description
  5. Save the service

Service Details

Name

What the service is called:

  • "Annual Physical"
  • "New Patient Consultation"
  • "Follow-Up Visit"

Duration

How long appointments typically last:

  • 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes, etc.
  • Used as default when booking
  • Can be adjusted per appointment

Description

What the service includes:

  • Brief explanation
  • What patients can expect
  • Any preparation needed

Active Status

Whether the service is currently offered:

  • Active services appear in booking
  • Inactive services are hidden
  • Useful for seasonal or discontinued services

Editing Services

To update a service:

  1. Find it in the services list
  2. Click to edit
  3. Make your changes
  4. Save

Deactivating Services

To hide a service without deleting:

  1. Find the service
  2. Toggle it to inactive
  3. It no longer appears in booking options

Deleting Services

To permanently remove:

  1. Find the service
  2. Click delete
  3. Confirm the action

Note: Consider deactivating instead of deleting to preserve historical data.

How Services Affect Booking

When appointments are booked:

  • Service selection sets the duration
  • Descriptions help patients understand
  • The AI can explain services to callers
